The Jackumentory Experience – 7/7/10 – Anhanguera!!
Goood Eeeeevening All!
I hope everyone is well and happy in their days, and I guess most of all taking full advantage of the summer weather. Let me tell you its real hot here in London and it is looking like holding out and I hope it does because people are happier when the sun is out
Speaking of heat, this weeks special guest mix is from Brasil’s 3rd biggest export after football and coffee, we are proud to present to you, ANHANGUERA!!
Anhanguera have a fearsome rep for pleasing crowds all over the world with their energetic dj sets; Dudu and Decio hold true to this by delivering a hot cha-cha-cha of hip swinging beats that even the late latino beat king Tito Puente would loose his mind too. They are also amoung the new breed of producers to have establised themselves on the underground house scene that are not just firm favourites to the likes Mark Farina, Phill Weeks, Hector Morales, DJ Heather, Bear Who, DJ S, Sista Stroke and yours truely, but to nearly every house dj and dancer out there in the world.
I hope that you enjoy the mix just as much I did and I thank the boys from Brasil for providing 60mins of joy….. So crack open the patrone and get ready to shack out!
Take care PeEpS!
Until Next week…. 9pm to 11pm GMT on www.chicagohousefm.com
Ciao! X

The Jackumentory experience RadioShow – Unreleased and Unleashed Edition
Hello Friends and Familee
Here is a recorded show that well, never left the shelf, its fairly recent with some new jams from some of my fav tracks at the moment. It didn’t make it of the shelf becaus the organ grinder has got me dancing to a tune thats got me working a sweat from dawn till dusk. Sucks, but it dont suck half of much as me not being able to post my podcasts, and most of all, from doing my show!!! You see, over the past few weeks, well actually, 6 weeks infact, my internet service provider has been lame in fixing a fault with my connection, and its got to a point where it drops every couple of hours it just cuts out and then they take for ever sorting it out….. VIRGIN MEDIA YOU SUCK! Thanks for all the crap and thats all I am gonna say on the matter.
Although this show is a week or so late, I just couldn’t go another week not given you anything to listen too, so I have called this show, the Unreleased and Unleashed Edition of the Jackumentory Experience….! So I hope that you will enjoy listening just as much as I love doing my shows week in and week out, because without your ears and support I wouldn’t be fullfilling a dream of mine!
Thank you so much, happy is as happy does!
Peace

The Jackumentory Experience – DJ S – 02/06/2010
Hey House Peoples!
Yeah I know it’s been a while since I have posted my show, and I know its lame as I know some of you faithful podcatchers have been deprived of your house musix…. Well, I think I have made up for it with last week’s show and I think that you will agree once you have heard it, as we had Beatmavens very own Space Academy’s Captain, DJ S, join us for some intergalactic body rocking house grooves….
DJ S heralds from the mecca of House, Chicago, where he, like many that embark on an exodus there, learned his trade as a fierce DJ that boldly goes where no man has gone before! lol…. Right now, you can fellow the man weekly with The Space Academy podcast blog and also, if you happen to be in Seoul, South Korea, you can catch him rocking dance the floor at his weekly residency the Love Lounge with the rest of his Academy compardrez.
DJ’s was kind enough to give us an intriguing interview into how the growth of dance music culture has developed in the far east and how Seoul compares to its neighbouring big brothers, Beijing and Tokyo. Not only that, when I say he graced us with a stellar guest mix… This guy really laid it down and bare! Now, for thoughs that where listening in to the live show, we had some issues with our internet connection and the broadcast was cut short, which we apologies for and hope to have it sorted soon, but I didn’t want to hold out and deprive you from DJ S’s mix.
So here it is folks, I hope you enjoy it just as much as I have!
And heres his play list!
Track listage (photo is attached to mp3 file and attached separately).

The Jackumentory Experience | 05-05-2010
Howdy Peeps,
Here is this week’s instalment of the Jackumentory Experience Radio Show recorded live on www.chicagohousefm.com.
It was all fun and games on the show despite the technical issues experienced on the night, which again we apologies for, these things happen right! What can you do huh?
Over the past month or 2 (or maybe 3) I have been able to look on the brighter side of life; even though with working and plotting my next step, it’s been a challenge and a welcomed challenge too, so don’t get me wrong, as I am not complaining at all. I just think it’s kinda funny that we each find ways to adapt differently to the situations we all live through, whether it good or bad. I have to admit, but this time last year I was walking a very new road in my life, and looking back I can honestly say that I have discovered a totally new side to myself, it’s more of a trait that my Dad has to be honest which I have adapted to myself, but it’s definitely made me realise a little more about me and the new lessons that I have learned coupled the experiences that I lived through. Strangely, I am glad that I lived through the difficulty of being made unemployed and trying to hold a house together, the debts mount up, but ultimately my perseverance to turn things around to avoid things getting really out of hand and losing all that I have achieved. I mean, I’m married now, have 2 cats, bills, rent and all those other responsibilities that come with it. I’ll be honest with you, I had no idea that things would change the way that they have, but mind you, I never knew what it was like to be walking in the shoes that I am now. And at the moment, I feel that I have a way to go, I like my job and where I work, I am really liking my music and starting to take it a lot more seriously than ever, and I am working on building on these attributes by looking to push myself that much more than ever. This is why I say that I have been able to look on the brighter side of life, because I have found myself in a place where I feel I can really make something happen that will improve the quality of my life without having to feel that I have to fight for it, now I just have to work for it! And that’s something I have never felt before….
Thanks for downloading and being part of my groove! See you next week, same time same channel J
Peace and Happiness…

The Jackumentory Experience – 28-04-2010
Hey Peeps,
Here is this week’s podcast of my radio show on ChicagoHouseFM.
This week was all about house and that summer feeling that is gradually beginning to warm up our lives here in the UK. As I write this now, it’s actually rain, but for the majority of the past few weeks it’s been great weather all round, and I’m loving the sunshine, because everybody loves the sunshine, as folks get down in the sunshine….. Gotta love Roy Ayers for that!
I started off with some of my vinyl treats that I have been diggin out over the last few weeks, it kinda took me back to the turn of the 2k when life for me was pretty interesting as I was at the start of my 20 something’s. Some of the tracks just whisked me back to a moment where a cheeky smile would form on my face because of all the shenanigans I got up to and not only that, I was really loving a lot of music at the time…. It wasn’t all rosie though as the great roller coaster of life was just getting started, but it wasn’t all bad either. 10 years later and listening back, and most of all playing these records just makes me appreciate just how fortunate I am to have been able to experience all that I have, most of it was careless acts but I managed to stay out of trouble long enough to learn a lesson or two.
I really can’t say it enough, but with all the great house music over the past decade not just the last 25 years or so, has been great and I’m glad that I own a small part of it…. Being able to share it on my radio show with you all is gratifying to say the least. 2hrs sometimes just doesn’t seem enough and that i guess is the fun part because I have so much music that I want to play for you to hear, to share and hopefully turn you on to something that you have either forgotten about or have never heard before even if it isn’t new. I’ve been kinda inspired of late, may be its the weather, may be the recent changes in my life are making me feel more positive and focused again, maybe it could be the a combination of many things, but I aint gonna question it at all, I am just gonna thank the elements and embrace it all to enjoy LIFE and HOUSE!
I hope you enjoy this week’s show, and thanks for downloading and supporting.
Love and Happiness

The Jackumentory Experience Presents – Blacksoul
How’s is everyone? Hope your happy and all.
It’s kinda hard to think about but we are very nearly halfway through this year, and spring in London is very much in full effect! We’ve been having some great weather the past couple of weeks and it’s looking like it is going to continue for a lil while more…. There certainly seems to be something in the air at the moment, and I ain’t talking about no volcanic ash either, I’m talking about music in general, as there seems to be some really exciting producers coming out of Europe at the moment. A couple of producers I am feeling at the mo are Makam, Oscar Six, Chemars, 420 Ceis and Luca M. There’s one producer out of the Eastern bloc contingent, who we are proud to have as a guest on this week’s show, and that’s Tom Blacksoul. We were supposed to have him on our show a couple of weeks back, but due to Miami and other constraints we put it off for a bit, but when you think about it all good things comes to those who wait. So, as I like to do, let me introduce you all to Croatia’s biggest house export, BLACKSOUL!
Let me give you some background info on the man; Blacksoul has been a professional DJ since 1994. It all began with a radio show on a local radio station RMK101.4 FM. His radio show began to gain popularity rapidly and was transferred to Radio Cibona and Plavi Radio. Today Blacksoul’s radio show „ SMOKE IT DEEP“ can be heard internationally on over 20 stations and his productions can be heard regularly on such radio stations as the BBC Radio 1, SSRadio UK …etc.
After his first international production in 2001, which fascinated the legendary Dj Laurent Garnier, Blacksoul came out with more than 70 house singles and remixes on various international labels that shows that he truly is Croatia’s leading house music export. With each new original production Blacksoul was offered to remix various hits from great & legendary international house producers such as: Funkagenda, Trophy Twins, Baggi Begovic, Montanas & Todd Terry, Morjac, Kid Massive, Roy Davis Jr, Alfred Azzetto, Robin S, Hanna Hais, Terry Farely, Christian Hornbostel, Mateo & Matos …etc.
Blacksoul’s story doesn’t’ stop here. In 2006 he decided that it was time to start his own record label, Blacksoul Music, on which he has featured more then 50 international and domestic musicians and producers, and currently he has over 20 releases on Blacksoul Music. General Releases can be found on all the below online digital distributors….
Thanks for reading, listening and downloading folks!
See you all next week, house is home!

The Jackumentory Experience 31-03-2010

This weeks show is a full tribute to those I love most. My Family…..
On the day of my show and my guestin on Sista Strokes BrickCityHouse I get a call from my sister telling me that the one person in the world who made the biggest impact on my life with guidance and wisdom other than my father was taken to hospital. You see, my childhood was spent being brought up by my grandparents, and my grandfather played a very big part in my early years because he guided me morally to not just think 1st and act later, but to stand up for what I believe in and always to remember that there are always 2 sides to every story. These teachings along with learning how to defend myself physically and mentally, prepared me for the real world as I know it today. The good news out of all of this is that he is making a full recovery and is of good spirits, it still doesn’t mean that I should take a step back and not be concerned, it just highlights the fact that we can all to easily get caught up in our own little worlds and take everything for granted leaving us to forget about the most important people in our lives, our family. Life does teach us that as the world keeps turning people come and go throughout our living days but our family and loved ones go well beyond general existence for they will forever live in our hearts and minds, its just as easy to not forget as it were, but to put something in the way as priorities or other commitments take precedence . It doesn’t mean that you are neglecting your loved ones, your just putting yourself 1st for a moment, the thing is not to let the pressure of everyday life bog you down so that you get to even share even a single minute more with those that matter most. In all, love does really start at home….!
Thanks for reading and listening folks! Please feel free to leave comments so I can give you shout outs live on my show!
Take care of you and the ones you love!

The Jackumentory Experience – SmokinGroove Special
Here we are with another week of 2010 gone by, and it seems with all the hype of Miami popping on every website, it looks as though 2010 really is growing into a good year. For my good friends smokingroove I dont see them slowing down too as they just seem to be like fine wine, there getting better and better with every year that goes by. This week we decided to change things up a little as our main guest, Blacksoul, post poned as he had to catch some emergency flights in order to make it to Miami and well these things happen so what can you do. This week is show is supported with a guest mix from SmokinGroove, its not just any mix in my opinion, its a mix thats shows what can be achieved when you really put hard work into what you want as with SG I can tell you that I have seen them both work hard and profit from the golden cliche of input = output. I remember the days when SG, Marko B and DJ Safe, were rocking early morning sets on one of Londons biggest pirate radio stations, FREAK FM. They hustled week in a week out pushing and pushing while life is throwing everything at them from good times and bad, and 10 years later, Marko in Dubai and with DJ Safe in London, there hard work is now starting to pay off, and it really doesn’t look like they are going to take there foot of the peddle. The hard work that these to champions of house music have put in has seen there corresponding labels, illuminati and mixtura records putting out solid EP’s that shows just how serious they are and that they plan to be present for a very long time.
